• Recruiter’s database size is limited to 10,000 candidates, whereas HireSpider’s server solution allows 100,000 candidates in the database and more.
• Recruiter has an MS Windows desktop look and feel, while HireSpider is encountered in web pages with a graphical interface that is not so rich.
• Recruiter is intended to work in the local network, so its access is usually limited to a single outlet. HireSpider, on the other hand, is a web server application and can work in both modes – for the company Intranet and for the entire Internet – depending upon the chosen installation.
• With HireSpider one can easily control user rights, having several roles for different users. Recruiter, however, distinguishes just administrator’s role of the system customization, also allowing the administrator to restrict recruiters from editing candidates’ selection rounds done by other recruiters.
• Recruiter is easy to install and support unlike HireSpider but with Recruiter one is limited to purchasing it, whereas HireSpider can either be purchased or leased. In the case of leasing Hirespider, it functions on our web server, and we take care of its installation, hosting and support. This support is inclusive of version updates and client database backup.

Pre-assessment of candidates allows you to capture both basic and more complex information about each candidate. Once captured, HireSpider measures candidates against these questions based on preferences that you define. You can also set 'disqualifier' questions allowing you to exclude candidates that do not meet your minimum application requirements, for example required educational and professional qualifications, criminal records etc. Even if a candidate does not score well on the pre-assessment questions, you will still be able to find him/her in the database, so they are not entirely removed in the event that a perfect candidate for a vacany cannot be found.

Yes. HireSpider is an Internet application (user name and password protected), so that you can access it at any time and from any location where you have access to the Internet. Alternatively, you can host the database behind a firewall of your choice for intranet-only access.

If you are leasing HireSpider following our ASP model, you need only set up career site links on your own web site. So, the only requirement on your part is to have your own web site. However, in the unlikely event that you do not have a web site, we can create one for you if you wish.
If you are licensing HireSpider in order to host it on your own server(s) we will provide you with an installation guide or we can install and test HireSpider for you remotely via the Internet.

Your data is your exclusive property not ours, and you can copy it whenever you want (in fact we will actively encourage you to back it up frequently, though we do this oureslves very regularly). We further guarantee to remove customer databases completely from our own systems in the event of cancellation and never to disclose your data to anyone not authorized by you to view or access it.
