HireSpider offers recruiters a familiar set of functions to manage jobs, candidates and hiring managers. Since HireSpider is an online, Internet-based application, recruiters can access these functions at any time and any place: in office, at home or on even business trips. To differentiate between levels of data access, the rights of a recruiter are granted only by password. Generally speaking, recruiters may use every function listed below.

Managing Job Openings
HireSpider allows recruiters to track job openings right through from approval to hire and the advertising of a vacancy online to fulfilment. A recruiter is assigned to each job and he or she has the exclusive right to edit the job description and to change its status. Recruiters may post, update and remove jobs from the web site in real-time.

Searching For Candidates
Recruiters can search for candidates in the database by any available field: name, desired job, work schedule, salary, or resume keywords, etc. The search results are then displayed as a list of mini-resumes. The recruiter can enter new candidates, view and edit their data and track them through each step of the selection process. Recruiters may annotate comments on each candidate and then search for these later.

Tracking Interviews
Interview tracking is one of the most useful of HireSpider's many features. Each candidate is followed through all steps of their selection, e.g. interviews, testing and references tracking. HireSpider accumulates the information on each selection round and notifies recruiters of new candidates attending for personal interview. To simplify the preliminary elimination of unsuitable candidates, HireSpider can include on your website pre-assessment questionnaires customized for each vacancy, and can automatically rank candidates as to how well they meet those requirements. There is a special evaluation form for every selection round. HireSpider stores the evaluated characteristics and their scores, the recruiter's comments and the hiring or rejection decision. You can easily search by any field used in the evaluation form or simply see the list of selection rounds the candidate has come through.

Managing correspondence
HireSpider sends automatically generated email notifications under the following circumstances:
   • a new candidate has registered online and has provided a resume;
   • a job requisition has come to an approval round that is assigned to the recruiter;
   • the status of a job requisition that the recruiter is responsible for has changed;
   • a candidate has reached a selection round that is assigned to a specific recruiter;
   • a decision regarding rejection, approval or hiring of a candidate has been made.
Email templates can easily be customized to meet your precise requirements.


Creating reports
Since HireSpider is accessed via an Internet browser, any information shown on screen can be printed out. For example, recruiters can print out job openings, ToDo lists, candidate profiles, etc. In addition, hirespider provides useful statistical reports. These reports take two forms: web site statistics and database statistics. The first helps you to analyze web site access and performance, including online and offline advertising referrals, whilst the second type of report helps you to analyze your database content and to evaluate the key recruitment indices of your company.
