The Applicants module is the core of the system. Use it to create and manage your applicant database. While entering a new applicant, Recruiter automatically assigns an ID number to the person and at the same time checks if he or she applied before.
Applications
Recruiter allows you to add new applicants to the database by using the included standard application forms or by adding custom forms. There is no restriction on the number of custom forms you can create, for different - clients, levels, positions, etc.
There are two standard forms. The detailed application form can be used to enter detailed applicant information (referral source, job expectation, education, employment history, professional skills, references, etc.). A short abridged form, is also available. Both forms enable the attachment of applicant resume files, certificates, degrees, licenses and reference letters in Text, RTF and Microsoft Word formats.
Resumes
Recruiter enables you to save costs and time, while eliminating errors, by allowing you to enter faxed, emailed or paper resumes. The file is saved in its native form (i.e. graphics if you have scanned a hardcopy, etc.), and in the formatted text form (RTF file). Recruiter uses your OCR software to decode a faxed or scanned resume and convert the result in to RTF text. OCR software is usually provided along with fax-modems and scanners.
Applicants' Sources
You can track applicants by any number of sources, such as newspapers, magazines, websites, Internet databanks, college placement centers, professional associations, employment agencies, etc. By tracking applicants by source, in conjunction with the optional Payments module, you will be able to perform interline accounting with each applicant source. The Correspondence module will help you draft, send and register letters to applicants' sources automatically.
Searching and Reporting
Use the fast search engine to find applicants that match ANY criterion you define, quickly and easily. You can search based on any field in the application form or text in the attached resume. The powerful engine allows multiple and conditional search criterion to be applied. Results are displayed as a list of applicants that meet the search criterion. Applicant lists are easy to print, export to Microsoft Excel™, or display in your browser. Or to analyze information and effectively present the results, you can use one of the many Recruiter reports!
To allow the integration of Recruiter into you company's human resources management system, we provide the exporting of application form data.
