Modest technical requirements are an important feature of Recruiter. The software needs no special server or additional software. A common system with the most widely distributed software will do.

System Requirements

To make work with Recruiter comfortable, we recommend that your PC have a Pentium processor and 64 ÌB of RAM. With this minimum Recruiter can easily operate a database of 10,000 applicants. Set your monitor resolution to not less than 800 x 600 pixels. The application uses about 7 MB on the hard disk, not including the database.

If you would like Recruiter to dial your phone you need a modem set up to be compatible with Windows.

Recruiter runs in Windows 95/98/NT/2000.

If you intend to print letters you need MS Word 95 or higher.

Internet Explorer 4 or 5 is required to display reports, view website, and to use the context-sensitive help.

To create an Electronic Recruitment Web Site, you need an e-mail server connection (SMTP and POP3) and an FTP accessed web page (a free provider's page is generally sufficient).

Local Network Operation

If you intend to use Recruiter in a LAN workgroup you need the network version of Recruiter installed on one of your computers. Just start the program – you don’t need to install it on each computer!

Installation

Recruiter is very easy to install. Just start the Setup.exe of the Recruiter setup, and the software will be installed automatically.
